B&B Machinery is looking for a hands-on and reliable Yards Person to join our team. If you enjoy variety, like working outdoors, and take pride in a well-maintained yard and workshop, we want to talk to you.
This is a full-time role supporting our service, parts, and sales teams with day-to-day yard and machinery duties.
Your Role Will Include
• Loading and unloading machinery and parts deliveries
• Cleaning and preparing new and used equipment for sale
• Minor repairs, light welding, and basic fabrication
• Assembly of hay equipment, mowers, loaders, and small implements
• Maintaining the yard, workshop bins, and general cleanliness
• Helping out with showroom presentation and stocktake
• Occasionally delivering or collecting machinery or parts
What You’ll Need
• Manual driver’s licence (forklift, HR/MC licence a preferred but not essential)
• Basic mechanical knowledge and a strong work ethic
• Experience operating machinery or similar equipment
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Physically fit and safety-minded
